WELCOME TO FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF CLEVELAND
Dr. Roe Callaway, Jr., Pastor
At First Presbyterian Church of Cleveland, we welcome all persons who seek to know, love and serve Jesus Christ and who want to grow and mature as Christ's faithful disciples. Because of our central location, popular traditions and community involvement, many people know about us but don’t know who we really are.  We hope you find this website helpful in getting to know more about us and that it encourages you to worship with us this Sunday.

 LEADERS AND CONTACT STEPHEN MINISTERS:

 Sally Kaltenbach & Joyce Naivar

First Presbyterian Church, Cleveland, has an active Stephen Ministry.  A
group of adults trained in the art of listening in a one-to-one Christian
setting , offering to anyone who is burdened with life crises and/or
challenges an opportunity to talk out their problem.  Prior to being
commissioned, candidates for Stephen Ministry have 50 hours of classes on
how to listen, maintain confidentiality, and recognize problems beyond the
scope of their training.  All Stephen Ministers participate in continuing
education on a regular basis.  Life crises can be experienced at any time
and by many causes; hospitalization, illnesses, death in the family and
other family problems including separation or divorce.  Life’s problems,
large and small, often may be helped by talking to a caring, trained person.
Stephen Ministers are ready to provide quality care to assist the pastor and
congregation.
