Women’s Bible StudyThe Second Thursday of each month will find the women of the church gathered there at 10:00 A.M. for a Bible study. We sometimes study a specific Bible book or a well known author, such as Max Lucado. Not only is our purpose to learn about the Bible, but also ourselves. Most months there is a volunteer leader, but sometimes we have a roundtable discussion. We share joys, personal acheivements, and concerns. We either bring a lunch or just eat the dessert provided by the volunteer hostess for the month. There are no specific officers. Our missions are to provide necessities for the women at Alto Prison at Christmas, throughtout the year necessities for Circle of Hope, collect Tools for Schools, help a family at Thanksgiving and or Christmas. We also welcome suggestions for new ideas. The fellowship and friendships among the women are ingredients that are special to behold. All women are welcome, whether a member of First Presbyterian or not.
