MISSIONS WE CONTRIBUTE TO BY BUDGET

Through our contributions to Northeast Georgia Presbytery:

Campus Ministry to University of Georgia
Helen Presbyterian Church
Westside Presbyterian Church Youth Choir - Working with depressed areas in Elbert County.
Jubilee Adult Ministry, Youth Ministries and Youth Councils.
James Odom Laos American Mission Partnership - Cornelia Presbyterian and the local Laos community share and work in the same church. Medical Ministry to Laos.
Neighborhood Improvement Project in Augusta, GA - A depressed area. Provides health and support services.

Through our direct contributions:

White County Caring and Sharing - some of the local churches provide space,
funds and volunteers. Local banks, United Way and the Thrift Store supply
financial support. White County residents who find themselves in need of
help with electric, gas and other bills are given assistance.
White County Food Pantry - serving White County by helping provide
food for the needy. Our church has two drives a year as well as providing funds.
White County Life - Providing counseling and help to unwed mothers.
Laotian Project - see James Odom in previous section.
Campus Crusade for Christ International - Missionaries Meredith and Petrit in Albania.
Mission to Indonesia (Becca Young)
Thornwell Presbyterian Home for Children
Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship - Brings the Word to areas that are not otherwise reached.
Diaster/Assistance Fund  

MISSIONS SUPPORTED BY SPECIAL OFFERINGS AND PROJECTS

Change4Children - 1st Sunday of the odd month we collect coins for the children of Africa.
Operation Christmas Child - during October and November, shoe boxes are filled with items from a list for children in depressed areas world wide. This is a mission project by Franklin Graham.  Many churches participate.
Christmas International House - sponsorship of foreign college students at Christmas time to provide a home away from home.
Mother's Day Offering - helps Presbyterian Retirement Homes.
One Great Hour of Sharing - a multi church mission
Souperbowl Sunday - collection for the local hungry
